The
528 hours lengthy journey from Mumbai to Leh-Ladakh was finished by them in
their own unique style, which on the way tested their willpower, patience and
collective teamwork. The final but the key thing about MBA is riding their
bikes as fast as their slowest rider without leaving anyone on the way, making
them better and leaving their fans with no doubts and questions about their
wilderness and passion. All members agree on a stable, comfy speed that is upheld
all through the ride and it’s this
factor that makes them exotic from
any other club. The team spirit and confidence that they bear is truly
inspiring and motivating along with their motto which says ‘ride till I die
‘which can be seen in every of the team member.
It
was not an easy task for them, in which they had to prepare about everything
from planning to prepare for the unseen situations which could have occurred at
any times. After the successful bike ride last year, it had been their favoured
destination and once gain they proved it right by visiting the same place with
harmony and team effort all the way in a 22 days journey. Amit Jambotkar
co-founder, MBA said, “Though its complex terrain, to reach such heights with
our biking brothers with whom we shares the same taste and passion of biking it
was like majestic and we felt like above the world. This year, it was more
challenging as we added Srinagar too on the route making the 2500 km journey to
a total of 2900 km, but it was great considering the beautiful and captivating
sights on the way. We discover something new each time we go there, and a feel
that no where on earth can we derive.”
They passed through the majestic height of
2,700 mts of Sangla Valley and moved to the daring shadow of Lahaul & Spiti
Valley at 4551 meters before riding to Kibber, crossing Kunzum La and fleeting
the 3rd uppermost motorable road in the world at Bara-lacha La Pass later on
their journey. It seemed high for them as it gets, traveling to Leh via Sumdo
and Chuma-Thang at an elevation of 3965 meters and moving past Khardungla Pass
at a height of 5602 meters and finally reaching Ladakh. After, they went to Kargil
via the convergence of The Zanskar and Indus rivers, attended the war memorial
at Drass and move on to Srinagar from where they rode back to Jammu via Gulmarg
finally ending.
Passion,
effort, dedication and hard work of MBA led them to the top of the world.
